Burns

Have you ever got burned?
In the rage of fire not just your skin but also your soul.
The flame flowing in your veins, searing every nerve and every cell.
You cry, you wail, you moan,
And mocking you the sparks groan.
Just when your soul tries running away from your roasted flesh,
the inferno grows strong and you look like a captive in hell.

The body had done nothing wrong,
It was your spirit which had to be taught to become strong.
When the level ascends very high, greater than a 3rd degree fry,
you suffer a lot more than what they call a "hypovolemic shock".

You had never imagined such a pain,
like an unbearable concussion hits your brain;
All the blood flows in your heart, thinking it as a way to escape,
Your heart inflates, swells, aches and bursts.
Gradually the pain dissolves and the threshold appears.
Now it is on your soul to give up or strive
They say most of the spirits yield and they eternally die,
But those who survive are the ones to fly.
